all the crazy things we find in our yard
This is probably one of the weirdest things I’ve found up until this point. This plastic angel figure is attached by a rusted chain to one of our larger trees in the backyard.
The really creepy thing about it is that it seems to be edged with some glittery thing – but also playing a flute with it? And why the fuck does glittery flute serpent go between it’s legs?
Here are just a few of the random bricks we’ve found scattered, buried, and chucked throughout the yard. I’m actually collecting them and hoping to find enough (we find one every other week or so) to border a container garden. Score!
Always wanted a basketball hoop (in working condition, of course).
Here’s a glass vial that we found while planting some flowers up front.
As you can tell from this second photo, there’s still some sort of liquid substance in it. B immediately started yelling “thow it out! throw it out!”, but I’m stubborn and had to take photos first.
When we moved into our house last year, we began to notice the little things strewn here and there in the yard. Soon we found bigger, stranger random things. We figured this would be a good way to document what we’ve found to date.
